This completely made my day!
I’m a member of a Facebook group called “Scottish Libertarians”, which irritatingly provides me with about 25 notifications every day. It’s basically just full of posts and discussions on Libertarianism, plans for meetings, and things happening in Scotland politically. This usually does not make my day.
A few people from it have added me, although I’ve never really interacted with any of them that much. Maybe I’ve liked someone’s status once or something. Anyway, one of the people to add me was this girl over a month ago. I accepted her. And that’s it really.
Except this morning, I go into my messages to check that something I had sent yesterday actually did send (I am just a tad neurotic), and decided to look in the “other” folder, and right there at the top is a message from this girl, dated December 8th. I felt so awful! I had never noticed it before and it’s been over a month, she must think I’m a horrible person. Especially because of what she wrote. Seriously, this is one of the best things anyone could do for me and I was oblivious to it for ages!

Outside of the “and i think you said your queer?” bit, (which I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE SHE GOT THAT FROM HAHAHAHA), I think that is a lovely message to send! :) I’m not weirded out at all, in fact I genuinely love it when people are so direct and forward like this! I wish I could be like that. She must think I was creeped out by it or found it awkward and blew her off though. Hopefully she understands and still wants to be my friend, because friends are cool.
I hope she is a cool ass motherfucker, and not a serial murderer.
